Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup or 1 pound crabmeat
  • 1 ¼ cups mayonnaise
  • ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese grated fine
  • 1 to 3 teaspoons horseradish
  • 3 tablespoons French dressing
  • 1 tablespoon Old Bay seafood seasoning

Instructions
 

  • In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
  • Stir well until fully incorporated and creamy.
  • Chill until ready to serve.
  • Serve with crackers, toast points, or fresh vegetables.

Notes

Use fresh lump crab for the best flavor, but canned or imitation crab can work in a pinch.
Adjust horseradish to taste—it adds the perfect kick!
Optional sugar balances the tanginess of the French dressing if desired.
