SC Crab Dip
Ingredients
- 1 cup or 1 pound crabmeat
- 1 ¼ cups mayonnaise
- ½ cup sharp cheddar cheese grated fine
- 1 to 3 teaspoons horseradish
- 3 tablespoons French dressing
- 1 tablespoon Old Bay seafood seasoning
Instructions
- In a medium mixing bowl, combine all ingredients.
- Stir well until fully incorporated and creamy.
- Chill until ready to serve.
- Serve with crackers, toast points, or fresh vegetables.
Notes
Use fresh lump crab for the best flavor, but canned or imitation crab can work in a pinch.
Adjust horseradish to taste—it adds the perfect kick!
Optional sugar balances the tanginess of the French dressing if desired.
