Moma’s Best Barbecue Sauce is one I use on everything! I love it on pork ribs and chicken. As an added bonus, this freezes well too! If I am in a hurry, I do not add all the vegetables, i just make the sauce.

Moma’s Barbecue Sauce Recipe
Best Ever Barbecue Sauce
Ingredients
- 2 ea onions sliced or chopped
- 2 tbs melted butter
- 1 large garlic clove minced
- ½ cups celery chopped
- 1 cup catsup
- ¾ cup water
- 1 tsp dry mustard
- 1 tsp salt or salt to taste
- ¼ tsp pepper
- 2 tbs brown sugar I used one
- 2 tbs vinegar I used apple cider but is your discretion
- 2 tbs lemon juice
- 2 tbs Worcestershire Sauce
Instructions
- Saute 2 ea onions in 2 tbs melted butter
- add 1 large garlic clove and 1/2 cups celery to onions and cook 3-4 more minutes until translucent
- add all other ingredients to pot
- bring to boil and cook for 20 minutes.
