Best Christmas Casserole
My mom has made this Best Christmas Casserole every Christmas Day for as long as I can remember. She made extras and gave as gifts. All the neighbors asked for a casserole long before Christmas to make sure their name was on the list. The great things about this casserole is it can be made ahead of time and you can freeze it after you bake. I make mine usually Christmas Eve day or the day before and refrigerate. I also make an extra 8 x 8 pan for that cold morning in winter. This may become your tradition too!
This recipe was in my mom’s personal cookbook. She absolutely loved to cook and cut out recipes. The apple did not fall far from the tree. I have thousands of recipes my mom made and I have my aunts and my grandmothers. You will be in for a treat!
